Day 1: Nov 21st : Aizawl
Welcome to Mizoram, one of Northeast India’s most scenic and least explored states. Perched on a series of ridges overlooking deep valleys, Aizawl offers a unique blend of mountain landscapes, Mizo culture and relaxed small-town charm. Later visit the Mini Biodiversity Park (Sakawrhmuipui Tlang), where a short nature walk leads to beautiful viewpoints overlooking the city. Explore Bara Bazar, stroll through the peaceful hillside neighborhoods and enjoy panoramic sunset views across the surrounding hills. In the evening, visit the Glass Bridge Skywalk Platform and enjoy spectacular night views of Aizawl spread across the surrounding ridges.

Day 2: Nov 22nd : Aizawl – Reiek ( 35 Kms / 1.5 Hrs )
After breakfast, explore some of Aizawl’s highlights including the Mizoram State Museum, Solomon’s Temple, Durtlang Hills (KV Paradise), Hlimen Park and the Lalsavunga Hanging Bridge. Visit Bara Bazar, the city’s bustling traditional market, before departing for Reiek.
Drive through scenic mountain roads to Reiek, a picturesque village nestled amidst forested hills. En route stop at the Talang River before reaching the village. Explore the Reiek Heritage Village, learn about traditional Mizo architecture and lifestyle, and enjoy leisurely walks through bamboo forests and village trails.

Day 3: Nov 23rd : Reiek – Sialsuk ( 75 Kms / 3 Hrs )
Early morning trek to Reiek Peak to witness sunrise over the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges. After breakfast, continue your journey through rolling hills, forests and mountain villages towards Sialsuk.
En route visit Zokhua Village, a model village known for its cleanliness and community life, and Falkawn Village, one of Mizoram’s best heritage villages showcasing traditional Mizo architecture and culture. Continue to the Tropic of Cancer marker before proceeding to Hmuifang Hill, known for its pristine grassy slopes and sweeping mountain views. Further ahead, visit Sialsuk Tlang, offering magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Arrive in Sialsuk by evening and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of one of Mizoram’s most charming hidden villages.

Day 4: Nov 24th : Sialsuk – Thenzawl ( 70 kms / 2.5 Hrs )
After breakfast, drive deeper into central Mizoram towards Thenzawl, passing through beautiful mountain scenery and forested landscapes. Visit local weaving centres and the renowned Mizo Handloom Centre, known for preserving the state’s rich weaving traditions. Later explore the countryside around Thenzawl and visit the scenic Golf Course, one of the most picturesque golf courses in Northeast India.
The remainder of the day is free to relax and enjoy the cool mountain weather amidst rolling hills and scenic surroundings.

Day 5: Nov 25th : Thenzawl – Champhai ( 240 kms / 7.5 Hrs )
After breakfast, embark on one of the most scenic drives of the journey as you travel across eastern Mizoram to Champhai. The route passes through bamboo forests, remote tribal settlements, mountain ridges and spectacular valley viewpoints. En route visit Tuipui Village and enjoy several photo stops while experiencing some of the most untouched landscapes in Northeast India.
Arrive at Champhai by evening and relax while enjoying beautiful views across the Champhai Valley.

Day 6: Nov 26th : Champhai & Indo-Myanmar border region.
After breakfast, set out to explore the fascinating eastern frontier region of Mizoram. Visit the scenic Champhai Valley with its vineyards, rice fields and rolling countryside. Continue towards Zokhawthar near the Myanmar border and explore the local border market.
Visit the beautiful Rih Dil Lake, deeply connected with Mizo folklore and history. Later visit the local winery and explore the vineyards before proceeding to Lianchhiari Lunglen Tlang (Lovers’ Point), offering magnificent views over the valleys and mountains. Also visit the Memorial for Poets and Writers before returning to Champhai.

Day 7: Nov 27th : Champhai – Tam Dil ( 130 kms / 5 Hrs )
After breakfast, depart Champhai and begin the scenic drive towards Tam Dil via Saitual. The route passes through picturesque mountain landscapes, forests and traditional villages. Upon arrival at Tam Dil, one of Mizoram’s most beautiful natural lakes, enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake, take in the peaceful surroundings and soak up the tranquil atmosphere. The area around Tam Dil is ideal for nature lovers and offers a refreshing contrast to the mountain villages visited earlier in the journey.

Day 8: Nov 28th : Tam Dil – Aizawl ( 85 kms / 3 Hrs )
After a relaxed morning by the lake, drive to Aizawl through scenic countryside and forested hills. Arrive by afternoon and spend the remainder of the day exploring the city at leisure. Visit local cafés, browse the markets for souvenirs or simply enjoy the panoramic views across the surrounding hills.
Overnight in Aizawl.

Day 9: Nov 29th : Aizawl  ( Departure )

No.We don’t include flights and visa costs in our prices unless specified. We, however, will help you with booking flights and getting the visa done.

What is the typical group size?
We believe that a small group is can enjoy the journey better and have closer interactions with the group members, therefore, we restrict our group size to a maximum of 15. Group size typically between 5 and 15. Our travelers are
friendly, open-minded, well traveled and we have a good gender mix on our tours.

Who can join this trip?
Anyone above 18 years of age can join our trips. Participants below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an elder.
