ITINERARY

Day 1: Oct 21st : Ubud
Arrive in Bali. Transfer to Ubud. Ubud is Bali’s cultural hub, a seductive town set amid terraced rice paddies and known for its talented classical dancers and musicians, and for its prolific painters and craftspeople. Tradition is particularly important here and temple festivals happen almost daily. It’s also home to good restaurants, cafes, and streets of shops, many selling goods from the region’s artisans. In the evening explore the market at Ubud. Overnight at Ubud.

Day 2: Oct 22nd: Ubud – Tanah Lot – Uluwatu – Jimbaran – Ubud
After breakfast, we visit Monkey forest and Saraswati Temple. After lunch, we leave for a half day tour visiting two beautiful temples, Tanah Lot Temple and Uluwatu Temple. Tanah Lot temple is built on a huge rock about three acres in size and 20 meters into the sea and Uluwatu Temple sits on a 70-meter-high cliff protruding above the sea. Both are very impressive Balinese temples at beautiful locations. Later around sunset, we have a beautiful Balinese cultural experience witnessing the Kecak Dance Performance. Kecak is a traditional Balinese dance drama performance depicting a battle of the Ramayana and is primarily performed by men. Afterward, we head to Jimbaran for dinner where the beach literally turns into an open-air restaurant by evening. Later drive back to Ubud and overnight at Ubud. Later drive back to Ubud and overnight at Ubud.

Day 3: Oct 23rd: Ubud – Tagalalang – Kintamani – Ulun Danu Beratan – Munduk 
After breakfast head out to the highlands of central Bali. Our first stop on the way Tagalalang rice terraces that have been built into the sides of the mountains and follow the natural contours of the hills. Next, we visit Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, on the way passing through Kintamani and Mount Batur. Not only is the temple in itself beautiful but its located in the most spectacular settings on the banks of Lake Beratan. The location of the temple at a lake surrounded by misty mountains makes it a serene and peaceful place to visit. After lunch head to the Banyumala waterfalls, one of the best in Bali. See these beautiful twin waterfalls plunging over rocks onto a jungle pool. On the way, there are a few Bali swings for the quintessential Bali photo. By late afternoon we check into a beautiful homestay in the sleepy village of Munduk in the central highlands. Overnight at Munduk.

Day 4: Oct 24th: Munduk – Banjar – Lovina
After breakfast take a light trek to visit Munduk waterfalls and later visit Air Panas Banjar ( hot springs ). Later by afternoon, we reach Lovina. After lunch we check into our hotel near the beach. Evening see the sunset from the black sand Lovina beach. Overnight at Lovina.

Day 5: Oct 25th: Lovina – Amed 
Today is a day with the sea and dolphins. Rise early in the morning for a Dolphin watching tour off the coast of Lovina. Take a boat ride into the sea and watch schools of dolphins swimming around. As soon as the sun starts to rise, and the orange color of the sky reflects on the sea, the dolphins appear. If you are lucky, they will sometimes swim, jump and play just next to your boat. Later after breakfast, we drive along the beautiful coastal road to Amed. On the way stop at the beautiful Git Git waterfalls. See the black sand and the white sand beaches of Amed and take in the beautiful sunset from Jemuluk bay. Optionally one can go snorkeling at Jemuluk bay. Overnight at Amed.

Day 6: Oct 26th: Amed to Kuta 
After breakfast, we head Pura Agung Lempuyang for some beautiful photos with the majestic Mount Batur in the background and the quintessential Gates of Heaven Instagram photo. Later visit Tirtha Ganga and later stop at the little-known and beautiful virgin white sand beach at Karangasem. After lunch we head to Kuta. Evening free to explore and walk around Kuta. Overnight at Kuta.

Day 7: Oct 27th: Kuta – Nusa Penida – Kuta 
Today we go for a full-day trip to Nusa Penida island. Take the fast ferry from Sanur harbour for the exhilarating 1-hour journey in the sea to reach Nusa Penida. Explore the many beautiful white sand beaches of the island, snorkel and see underwater marine life and check out the many view points in the island. Evening back to Bali and overnight at Kuta.  

Day 8: Oct 28th: Kuta – Seminyak ( Free day )
Today is a free day to explore and enjoy some of the many activities available in South Bali. Kuta is the hub of tourism in Bali with all the requisite shopping streets, malls, restaurants, cafes, massage parlors, and discos. Today is a free day to explore Kuta and Kuta beach. Kuta beach, a beautiful long stretch of wide sandy beach, is the place that put Bali on the map, and a must-visit during your stay in the area. Here, tourists and locals alike come together to surf and take evening strolls, making for a perpetually relaxed and fun-loving atmosphere. If it’s retail therapy, massage, culinary experiences or partying you’re looking for, it’s all there within walking distance. Overnight at Kuta.

Day 9 : Oct 29th: Departure
After breakfast tranfer to airport. End of trip.

Are flights & visas included in your costs?
No.We don’t include flights and visa costs in our prices unless specified. We, however, will help you with booking flights and getting the visa done.

What is the typical group size?
We believe that a small group is can enjoy the journey better and have closer interactions with the group members, therefore, we restrict our group size to a maximum of 15. Group size typically between 5 and 15. Our travelers are
friendly, open-minded, well traveled and we have a good gender mix on our tours.

Who can join this trip?
Anyone above 18 years of age can join our trips. Participants below the age of 18 must be accompanied by an elder.
